Big Brother Naija (BBNaiaja) star, Terseer Kiddwaya has denied knowing Rebecca “Nengi” Hampson on a personal level before the beginning of the season 5 reality Tv show.
Speaking to Pulse Tv, Kiddwaya whose father is a billionaire said he only talked to Nengi on the phone while they were on lockdown in the hotel as part of the COVID-19 requirements in preparation to enter the BBNaija house.
Kiddawaya’s statement is contrary to what Nengi told Ngozi “Erica” Nlewedim when the latter tactically prevented Nengi from talking to Kiddawaya.
Recall, Erica who bonded romantically with Kiddwaya was not comfortable during a Saturday night party as Nengi and Kiddwaya were seen talking together. She had to go and dance tactically in between them.
Miffed by her action, Nengi had told a drunk Erica that she knew Kiddwaya even before the BBNaija house and would have dated him if she wanted to.
But Kiddwaya has debunked that claim, noting that Nengi might have seen him in a club in Abuja or somewhere else, but they have never met nor related on a personal level.
He said, “I didn’t know Nenegi in any way outside the House. We only spoke on the phone during her lockdown process when we were in the hotel room and we were not allowed to speak (face to face) with other Housemates… we were all in lockdown.
“We only spoke through Intercom, but I didn’t know her, I’ve never seen her and I spoke to different people during that process. We never met face to face prior to then.
“So, when she comes out (from BBNaija) you gotta ask her the timeline of when she knew me because she may have known me from a club or from somewhere since we both base in Abuja.”
