Nigerian President, Muhammadu Buhari is presently in a private meeting with the Service Chiefs at the Council Chambers of the Presidential Villa, Abuja.
Furthermore, the Chief of Defence, General Gabriel Olonisakin, who led the Service Chiefs,
reached the seat of power at 08:50 GMT, and he advanced straight to the Council Chambers.
Also, President Buhari joined the meeting at 09:00 GMT and the meeting went to a close session immediately.
The Service Chiefs are required to brief State House Correspondents at the end of the meeting.
The security meeting is expected to discuss the new increase in security challenges.
This is coming less than 24 hours after the United States Government condemned the brazen killings of civilians in Northern Nigeria.
