Tekashi 6ix9ine, who is an American rapper has finally revealed why he snitched his fellow gang members to get a lighter sentence.

6ix9ine was sentenced to jail in December 2019 after snitching on the Nine Trey Gangsta Bloods gang. By snitching on them, it earned him a lighter sentence and prevented him from spending 37 years in prison for crimes that included orchestrating a shooting in which an innocent bystander was wounded.

Tekashi 6ix9ine release was ordered on April 2, by U.S. District Judge Paul Engelmayer in order for the rapper to complete his last four months of his two-year sentence in an unknown location due to 6ix9ine’s asthmatic condition and the coronavirus pandemic.

However, during an Instagram live chat which got over 2 million hits, 6ix9ine address being labelled a snitch after exposing his gang member during the trial.

He debunked people who doubted his loyalty and questioned them about the whereabouts of their loyalty when his gang members were sleeping with his baby mama, beating him up and sharing the video on social media, attempting to kidnap his mother and also calling a rival gang to kill him.

He described himself as a living legend as he pointed out many people who felt it was the end of him after he snitched on his gang members

He added;

“You know why people so mad? Cause they thought it was over for me. They counted me out. Oh, yo, you ratted…it’s over for you. Y’all could never. Y’all could never cooperate with the government and come back. Y’all could never do that. I’m a living legend at the age of 24 years old.”

Tekashi also apologized to his friends and family for compromising their safety.
