Ocho Records frontline act, The Flowolf have revealed that Legendary Fuji Muisician Lawyers are still requesting for a Percentage Money made from the Distribution of his recent track “Bobo” which was released some weeks ago where he sampled part of KWAM1’s track “Bobo no go die”.
He revealed this on Friday in an Instagram live chat with Afrobeatsglobal, tagged “Away from Reality”, where he stated that after issuing a public apology to Wasiu Ayinde, he was mandated to remove the song from all streaming sites.
In his words:
Firstly, I got a mail from the lawyers accusing me of Copyright and that the Music should be taken off all Digital platforms in order to avoid any further actions which I did and also issued a public apology. It was afterwards I got another mail requesting that I share a percentage made from the song distribution.
He also spoke on how he was amazed by the success of the newly released track MAFA MAFA which features DMW boss, Davido, Peruzzi and Dremo.
