Convener of the Yoruba Mandate Group, Akogun Banji Ojo extends Easter greetings to the Christian community and urged them to celebrate the festival at home in the wake of the coronavirus outbreak in the country.
Easter being a moment of forgiveness, love and prayers, we urge all Nigerians to forgive one another and do as much as possible to continue with the good manners that are reflected on during Easter. We ask our Christian community to take the time and pray to God to protect our country from the harm of Covid-19 and make us prevail over the pandemic.
The Yoruba Mandate Group takes this opportunity to reassure the Yoruba People, that the YMG, will maintain its course and commitment to progress, peace, development and prosperity of the Yoruba Race.
May God give us the utmost blessings of Easter, open our hearts to be able to accept, love, protect, guide and support one another as a nation, thus embedded in our motto, “OJUSE WA NI”.
