The former big brother Naija housemate, Tacha who has been passionate about how the governance in Nigeria has been running for some time now has come up with a solution.
She and her fans started a trend on twitter #TachaForPresident where she gave her presidential speech for the nation to hear.
In her speech, she talks about those suffering in the country who has not gotten the attention they are supposed to get.
She said…
“Let me tell you a story that you are really conversant with. you see that lady that comes out every evening at your junction to sell bananas,orange , water melon and earns 1500 to take care of her little babies”.
“You see that uncompleted buildings on your street, you see those labourers there that carry cement on their head, carry bags of cement on their head just to get two thousand naira because their don’t get a lot.”
“Are those the people you expect to wash their hands three times a day? Are they those you expect to do social distancing. Those people make that little to cater for their family”.
“These set of people are not on twitter and cannot post their account number on social media, these set of people are poor, I don’t know what it feels like to not have what to eat, that’s why I’m using this medium to reach out to them”
