The convener of the Yoruba Development and Unity Initiative (Yoruba Mandate Group) Akogun Banji Ojo has called on Yoruba Leaders to totally shun Hypocrisy and rather focus on the welfare and development of its citizens.
Akogun Banji Ojo while reacting to the condolence messages sent to the dethroned Emir of Kano, Muhammad Sanusi by the Yoruba Leaders says he believed that the development and Unity of the Yoruba Race should rather be a concern for the Leaders rather than worrying about what seems to be a political tussle among the Nothern strongholds.
He however commended the efforts of the Southwest Governors in signing the Southwest security Network bill “Amotekun Bill” into Law, stressing that it is well deserved and would rather protect the region from insecurity thereby ensuring the safety of lives and properties.
Meanwhile, the Yoruba Mandate Group community commiserates with the victims of the Abule Ado inferno, and admonished them to embrace the Two Billion Naira relief fund by the Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu administration adding that the Yoruba Mandate Group would also lend a hand in support.
“One of the major objectives of the Yoruba Mandate Group is to ensure cooperation and development of the Yoruba race worldwide, we have successfully reached 42 countries around the world and equally ready to work with concerned authorities to preserve the Yoruba Culture and ensure diversity and Unity”, he added.
