Professional Twerk Dancer Gang-Raped And Deported By U.S. Border Agents

A professional twerk dancer was allegedly forced to twerk, stripped and sexually assaulted by U.S. border agents after being refused entry into Puerto Rico.

Twerker Geri Hoops claims she was taken to a private room and gang-raped by several U.S. Customs and Border Patrol agents.

The well-known dancer told the Miami Herald that she was humiliated by a group of border agents. Approximately five officers mocked her dancing career, threw dollar bills at her and slapped her buttocks.

The ordeal has left the young international dance star on the brink of suicide.

Geri Hoops was flying home after dancing in a music video for a Puerto Rican singer. The celebrity twerker has more than 1.4 million followers on her self-named Instagram account.

The popular Chilean dance instructor is known as “the Queen of Twerking” in her home country. She has previously defended her “art form” against local critics who complained about the suggestive nature of her outfits and dances.

According to Geri Hoops, whose real name is Geraldine Rodriguez Olivares, she was detained at an airport in U.S. territory Puerto Rico by a group of U.S. Customs and Border Patrol agents.

The agents told the dancer that she should have traveled to the U.S. on a work visa, not a tourist visa. They showed her a printed flyer from her Instagram account, advertising her twerking class at a local dance studio, and said they had been “monitoring” her social media.

The officers escorted Miss Rodriguez Olivares into a private room in the airport, where they mocked and heckled the dancer, and made fun of her twerking career.

“Didn’t you come to make a show?” an officer asked the frightened young Chilean. Another officer chimed in: “Well, perform it now.”

A helpless Geri Hoops began to unwillingly twerk in front of at least five border agents, as they laughed at her, she claims.

“The agents started to slap my butt and threw money at me,” the dancer told The Herald. “I was so petrified that I peed myself. This made the agents laugh even harder.”

The border patrol agents told her to remain in the private room because they needed to check her for drugs. Geri claims she responded: “If you’re going to rape me, kill me.”

Two male officers entered the room and told the popular twerker to remove her clothing. They pushed her face against a wall, made her bend over and spread her legs in front of the officers.

One uniformed agent allegedly pulled down his pants zipper and put on a condom, while the other man put on blue medical gloves.

The man in the gloves patted Geri Hoops’ bare buttocks as she sobbed with fear. Then, the agent shoved his fingers inside her.

The Chilean native screamed and begged him to leave her alone, but the officer said he needed to search her body for drugs. The helpless young woman urinated on herself again as the man probed her genitals.

When he was done, the other agent raped the terrified twerker from behind. The man forced himself between the young dancer’s buttocks, and turned her head to make her watch.

The two men took turns. When the next officer finished inside her, the man in the gloves allegedly put on a condom and raped a now-humiliated Geri Hoops again as the other man watched.

Eventually, another male officer walked in, ordered the woman to put her clothes back on, and took her to a bathroom to wash herself. Border agents marched the traumatized dancer in handcuffs onto an airplane and sent her back to Chile.

“When I got to Chile, I only had one idea in my mind, and that was to kill myself,” Miss Rodriguez Olivares told The Herald. “I didn’t know how I was going to tell my boyfriend what they had done to me.”

The twerker says she spent a week after the alleged attack in a state of shock. “She was crying, screaming, crying,” her friend says. “We couldn’t understand anything that she would say.”

More than a week later, Geri revealed her story to fans in a tearful Instagram video. Her public cries for help sparked an international investigation involving U.S. and Chilean diplomats.

U.S. Customs and Border Protection confirmed that the agency launched an internal investigation into the claims, and concluded that the accusations are unsubstantiated. Chilean prosecutors are deciding whether they will file a complaint against the U.S. for custodial rape.
