Arsenal defender, David Luiz, has said he will have no issues giving up his preferred role in the back four, to new signing Pablo Mari.
Luiz has been used as the left-sided centre-back under Unai Emery, Freddie Ljunberg and current coach Mikel Arteta.
But that is the favoured position of Mari, who arrived on a six-month loan deal from Flamengo in January.
Mari could be involved when Arsenal welcome Newcastle this Sunday and Luiz says there would be no problem switching to the right to accommodate his new team-mate.
“I always want to play.I always play in the way the coach wants to play.
“It doesn’t matter the side, it doesn’t matter which position. You guys know I played a lot of positions during my career. I’m always ready for that.
“It’s good when you have a squad with a lot of quality players. We have a game every week, you have to be happy with this,” Luiz said according to Goal
