Former Manchester United star, Gary Neville, says he hopes new Red Devils striker, Odion Ighalo does brilliantly for the club after joining Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s men on Friday (transfer deadline day).
Neville, in a tweet on his official Twitter page on Saturday, said he could not find the words to describe the 30-year-old’s arrival at Old Trafford.
“I’ve been trying to find the words to describe what I think about the Ighalo signing,” Neville wrote on Twitter.
“I can’t… @SkySportsPL will be hoping I’ve mustered something together by 5.30. See you then.
“P.S. I’m hoping the lad does brilliantly, by the way.”
Meanwhile, speaking about Ighalo, Manchester United manager, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, told the club’s official website that the former Super Eagles striker is an experienced player.
The Norwegian said: “Odion is an experienced player.
“He will come in and give us an option of a different type of center-forward for the short spell he’s staying with us.
“A great lad and very professional, he will make the most of his time here.”
