The Yoruba Development and Unity Initiative also known as Yoruba Mandate Group has launched its youth wing section of the association. The sect will comprise of eligible youths from the South-West between the ages 18 and 30.
This was revealed to pressmen by the convener of the association, Akogun Banji Ojo. The Youth Wing will be eligible for scholarship scheme as well as secure educational assistance through the YMG Education Empowerment Programme.
This is inline with its agendas where it promised to seek grants and scholarships for Undergraduates and Postgraduates of the Yoruba race.
Dr. Olu Ekundayo, Associate Professor of Health Science, Northern Kentucky University will be in charge of the Worldwide Education committee, he said.
The Yoruba Mandate Group is a fast-growing association seeking the development of the Yoruba Race, serving to enhance the economic growth and values of the Yoruba people home and abroad.
