The 26-year-old identified as Nancy Isime who shared her story on her Instagram page won the 2017 Future Awards for On Air Personality (visuals). Ismie talked about the struggles she faced before achieving what she did. In her post, she noted that hosting was not part of her dreams, stating that it was just something she stumbled upon. She explained that she was influenced by people she met while participating in beauty pageants and ushering events.
Isime revealed that she worked odd jobs to pay her school fees. She noted that she would sleep at studios when she could not go home at night while working as an usher for events and participating in pageants. The OAP who expressed that she has made decisions she regrets in her life also advised people to keep fighting for their dreams.

re wrong and willingly correcting them is the main thing. Retracing your steps is one of the hardest things to do but trust me, your future self will thank you for doing that. It’s okay to cut people off. The only important things in life are Real Love and Your peace of mind. Focus on the positives.
