This is how a Nigerian tribe, KILBA, in Adamawa state bury their dead.
A little hole is dug for as the burial site of the dead person, then the most elderly person in he dead person’s family enter the hole and made to force down the dead body into the hole befre coming out.
The rite is also common among Christian tribesmen around Mandara Mountain and valley, Gwoza, Marghi, Pabbir/Bura, Höna, Higgi, Wagga, Wula, Vengo, Sukur, etc
