Manchester United have reached an agreement with Monaco, over a potential £9million deal for Hannibal Mejbri, the Daily Mail reports.
The highly-rated France U16 international has been in a legal wrangle with the Ligue 1 club over his contract after his family fell out with the club.
His agent, Jorge Mendes, was at United’s Carrington training base to discuss a deal, with Ed Woodward and Matt Judge also in attendance.
United have been chasing the young midfielder since the January transfer window when they opened initial talks with Monaco.
Mejbri has also been followed by Bayern Munich, Arsenal, Liverpool and Chelsea for the past three seasons.
