Manchester United manager, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, has specially asked the club to sign Paulo Dybala from Juventus, Tuttosport reports.
The club is now ready to meet the Italian champions’ valuation and bring the Argentina forward to Old Trafford.
Solskjaer’s focus so far this summer has primarily been on defensive reinforcements, having already signed full-back Aaron Wan-Bissaka from Crystal Palace and closing in on a deal for Leicester City’s Harry Maguire.
The Norwegian is now the driving force behind United’s interest in Dybala, who has scored 78 goals in 182 appearances for the Serie A giants.
Juventus were ready to sell the 25-year-old to Manchester United, provided they meet their valuation of between £70m and £90m.
