When it comes to watching Nollywood movies, many Nigerian like referrals so as not to waste time.
This is because of some technicalities in production and mistakes in script representation which leads to poor production.
Here We Highlight Five Strong points why Some Nollywood Movies are write offs.
See below
Long scenes
The way some scenes are prolonged can be frustrating. Imagine watching a scene that covers someone driving from one place to another long distant place. The scene will only make sense only if there is something threatening to happen in that scene right? But nothing will happen just mute conversations will go on, but why?
Repeated scenesÂ
There are some scenes that are in between the major scenes. Scenes like people crossing the road or any other road related scenes are often repeated more than three times in the movie. You begin to ask, why can’t they film another part of the city?
Stage-like scenes
If you have seen some nollywood that looks like school drama you will agree with me that it can’t be recommended. Those scenes look somewhat like people sitting to face a screen like a staged out scene. As as how now?
Predictable scenes
Before some scenes are even shown, what is supposed to occur will be known by the viewers. The reason this is so is basically because the preceding scenes tells it all.
Unnecessary scenes
If you ever saw a Nigerian movie that is majorly about touts, you will be suprised to see some scenes that do not have any use in the movie being showcased…
