Celebrities have been sending out tributes to late movie director and producer ,John Singleton .
The iconic film maker was taken off life support yesterday after suffering a stroke .
He produced movies like Poetic Justice which earned Janet Jackson her first Oscar nomination ,Baby Boy,a cult classic featuring Tyrese and Taraji P Henson .
In 1991 at the age of 24,he was the youngest African American to be nominated for an Oscar for Best director for the movie ‘Boys N the hood’
Taraji and Tyrese who visited him a day earlier were optimistic he would pull through .Sadly ,he didn’t .They both shared tearful tributes on how he gave them their first break in Hollywood.
