Nigerian singer , Tiwa Savage is undoubtedly one of the best musicians (not just female) to emerge out of Africa.
However , she has complained times without number about her achievements being undermined or not given enough respect as her male counterparts .
Tiwa took to Twitter today to and a message to fellow women like her , who undermine her achievements .She tweeted
”Kai women are not respected or valued in this country at all
For all the women trying to undermine my achievements I don’t pray the same for you. One day you will realize it should inspire you and not make you hate”
This isn’t the first time the singer is lashing out over the way she is treated .
Days after her sold out show at the London O2 in August last year, she asked if it was a crime to be a woman .
