South African musician , Babes Wodumo was physically assaulted by her boyfriend , a musician and her manager,Mampintsha, ’Instagram Live.
Shortly after she started recording , their voices were heard in the background before she came within view of the camera when he lunged at her , hitting her while yelling obscenities .
She immediately shut down the video .
It is not clear if she did it to expose him or if it was just a coincidence.
However, this is coming months after she accused him of domestic violence and said he was abusive .

South African Arts and Culture Minister, Nathi Mthethwa, released a statement condemning the assault of Babes Wodumo and shared parts of it on Twitter saying:
”We’re absolutley horrified by the actions of Musician Mampintsha @MampintshaNuz caught on video where he brutally abuses Internationally celebrated Artist @BABESWODUMO. We do not only condemn this senseless act but call on @BABESWODUMO to immediately press charges against him (sic).”
