President Muhammadu Buhari has been announced as winner of the Presidential elections in Kano State, defeating Atiku with over N1M votes.
Collation Officer in Kano State, Professor Magaji Garba who is presently the VC of the Federal University, Gusau, Zamfara State was in charge of anouncements.
In all 44 Local Government Areas in the state, Maggi announced that Buhari attracted 1, 464, 768 votes while Atiku got just 391,593 votes.
Total number of votes casted during the elections were 1,964,751m. The votes that counted were 1.891,134m while the votes that were not accepted were 73,617.
