Hollywood legend, Jamie Fox is elated for Spike Lee after his recent Oscar victory.
He said his excitement was clear because he felt the recognition was delayed but was never going to get denied.
Fox bared his mind to TMZ after the awards ceremony where he mentioned that he thought Spike walking up to the stage to receive the award was one of the best moments of the night.
As an Oscar award winner too, Jamie must’ve been speaking from experience when he said it was nothing but hard work that got Spike Lee the prestigious award
Jamie added that the acknowledgement the movie director received on the night was even more beautiful since Spike’s name came out of Samuel L. Jackson’s mouth.
The “Sleepless.” actor wrapped the interview up by reminiscing about how long himself and other Hollywood heavyweights have been in the game and how much effort they’ve had to put in for the success they’ve garnered, which is why he us happy that Spike, who is no newbie too, finally got recognized.
