I Rejected Donald Trump’s Half A Million Dollars To Appear At His Presidential Inauguration – 50 Cent

He might have a fantastic business head but 50 Cent is not one to forgo the greater good for one fat cheque.

He revealed this during his yesterday’s interview on the The Late Late Show with James Corden.

He said that he actually rejected half a million dollars to show up at Donald Trump’s presidential inauguration.

His words, “I didn’t do it because I didn’t know if I could fix the damage,”

“To be honest with you, all money’s not good money. You have to be careful what you do publicly because—I don’t know how you fix that.”

50 shared that he knew he wasn’t interested in being the tool Trump used to regain the black voter’s trust.

“I just was like ‘whoa,'” 50 joked. “Don’t bring me to fix the African American vote. Bring somebody else. I’ll see you later.”

The “Power” TV series producer has touched on the matter of the US president offering him money before. 2 years ago, he said on The Breakfast Club that Trump was ready to pay half a million for him to make an appearance at a campaign event organised for black voters.

His words then were, “I was like, nah, that’s not good money,” he said at the time. “I ain’t gonna do that. That’s no”
