Producers of popular TV show, “Empire.” are reportedly considering the suspension of Jussie Smollett after a recent charge for filing a false police report.
Sources close to the FOX show said to Variety yesterday that the owners were giving a thought to how they can punish Jussie after his racist attack claim was denounced by Chicago authorities.
FOX network had initially been solidly behind their “Jamal,” to the point of releasing a statement earlier about him still being a total professional on set and how there was no consideration to kick him out of the show even though reports shared the opposite.
A spokesperson for FOX network recently failed to confirm or deny reports of a looming suspension.
Jussie Smollett who recently got arrested is facing a class 4 felony charge for filing a false police report that connects to a case of racist and homophobic he said he faced recently.
