Teni Makanaki is YouTube’s latest pick on its “Artist On The Rise” platform dedicated to pointing out fresh music stars to watch out for.
2018 was a year to remember for the amazing singer as she churned out hits upon hits and made lots of waves and money.
To crown her efforts, she was awarded a Headies Rookie of the Year Award in 2017 and also won the Soundcity MVP Award for “Best New Artist” last year.
Her rise to fame that kept progressing into the year was helped by her catchy tune, “Case” which has more than 4 Million views, that earned her recognition on video streaming platform, YouTube, who decided to choose her as its latest trending ‘Artist On The Rise.’
The “Artist On The Rise” segment was started by YouTube just last year as a way of flaunting new rising artists in several Trending tabs.
As a reward for Teni’s achievement, YouTube will engage in the promotion of her videos on its US trending page, in social media advertisements and fan event gatherings at YouTube Spaces.
