The police are currently investigating a case involving a popular British musician who allegedly fondled a man in a hotel toilet. The victim is reportedly planning to sue the male star.
The incident happened at the Mandarin Oriental Hotel in Knightsbridge, West London in 2009 just as the victim made his way out of a cubicle.
The pop star, who reportedly was waiting outside, allegedly fondled the 26-year-old in an intimate area just as he tried to zip up his trouser.
The Sun reports that the victim had met the star through a mutual friend and has now asked the police to investigate, citing ‘psychological trauma’ from the incident.
The Metropolitan Police confirmed they are investigating, followign a complaint from the victim – who worked in TV – came forward on October 5, 2018.
A spokesman said: ‘A man contacted police to allege that he was sexually assaulted by another man in February, 2009 at the Mandarin Oriental Hotel, SW1.
‘Officers from Westminster are investigating. There has been no arrest.’
The singer is hwoever denying the allegation, which a source claimed is ‘a single matter.’
