We reported a few minutes ago that fashion designer Karl Lagerfeld has died in Paris. He died at the age of 85 in France.
New report confirms that the German-born designer had for a while been battling pancreatic cancer. His health took a nose dive and he was rushed to the hospital where he finally died.
A source who spoke on his passing said; ‘He hadn’t gone on about his illness, but battled it very bravely.’
‘Karl was very proud of his fitness and healthy living, so the pancreatic cancer came as a huge shock.’
Lagerfeld – dubbed ‘Kaiser Karl’ and ‘Fashion Meister’ – was well celebrated in the fashion industry.
