A new report has confirmed that two Nigerian brothers have been arrested over the Jussie Smollett attack. The brothers who are actors have been identified as Abimbola ‘Abel’ and Olabinjo ‘Ola’ Osundairo.
According to Mailonline, the brothers were arrested at Chicago O’Hare Airport on Wednesday as they arrived back in America from Nigeria.
This is coming after reports started to swirl around that Smollett staged the attack because due to his character on Empire, being written out.
Ola appeared on Empire in 2015 and both brothers have had minor roles on Chicago PD.
Further investigation showed that Smollett follows both brothers on IG and according to their lawyer, sometimes goes to the gym with them.
The brothers have however denied any involvement in the attack.
