You Are Allowed To Vote With Any Finger – INEC

0

The Independent National Electoral Commission has stated clearly that it is possible for members of the public to vote using any finger of their choice as the ballot paper is not finger sensitive.

The electoral agency said the main thing to note is that your finger must not cross over to another box while in the process, as that would mean you are trying to vote for 2 political parties in one election, which makes your vote a waste.

INEC said, “A voter can use any finger to vote but should ensure that his or her mark is clear and placed inside the box of the political party of his or her choice and does not stray into another box.”

This was a response to reports that only one finger could be used.
