English actor Albert Finney is dead.
The five-time Oscar nominee reportedly passed after a short, undisclosed illness. He was 82.
In 2011, Finney was diagnosed with kidney cancer but is however not clear if that is what caused his death.
The talented actor received Oscar noms for “Erin Brockovich,” “Murder on the Orient Express,” “Tom Jones,” “The Dresser” and “Under the Volcano.”
According to his family, he passed away peacefully with friends and family by his side.
May his soul rest in peace.
