Seun Kuti is set to perform alongside Fatoumata Diawara at the premiere ceremony for the 61st Grammy Awards.
The son of legendary singer, Fela, and his band Kuti & Egypt 80 have been nominated for the Best World Music Album.
The album in question is “Black Times” and it was released on the 2nd of March last year.
The Afrobeat singer’s performance will be shown to online viewers who access Grammy’s website on the 10th of Feb, 2019.
Seven years after releasing “Fatou”, Seun Kuti’s co-performer Diawara dropped her second studio album “Fenfo” (Something To Say).
The 11-track album has drawn attention to the singer as she seeks awards for her music at this year’s Grammy ceremony.
