A South Carolina mom has been arrested after she allegedly poured water on her 9-month-old babygirl’s face, WACH reported.
According to an arrest warrant, 33-year-old Caitlin Alyse Hardy has been charged with cruelty to children.
Deputies said they saw the incident on a video the woman posted to Facebook after she was reported by viewers.
In the video, Hardy stated it was “payback for waking me up all kinda times of da night,”
Officials said the infant woke up coughing after the second round of water was poured over her.
She was released from jail after posting a $1,500 bond, the Associated Press reported.
“The charge against this defendant will be prosecuted to the full extent of the law,” Sheriff Anthony Dennis said in a statement.
