The couple have been married since 2014 and Gabrielle had previously said she never wanted kids.
However,raising Wadeโs three sons made her realise, she wanted kids.
She told People magazine in 2017
I never wanted kids,โ. โThen I became a stepmom, and there was no place Iโd rather be than with them.โ
โSo then I thought, โWell maybe I might be good at this, and maybe this is something I want to explore,โโ she continued. โAnd Iโm madly in love with this dude, so [having a baby] is something we could look into.โ
However, in her book, Weโre Going to Need More Wine, Union opened up about the difficulties sheโs faced in trying to conceive a child.
โI have had eight or nine miscarriages,โ she wrote. โFor three years, my body has been a prisoner of trying to get pregnant โ Iโve either been about to go into an IVF cycle, in the middle of an IVF cycle, or coming out of an IVF cycle.โ
