The Nevada woman who accused Cristiano Ronaldo of raping her in 2009 has told the soccer player’s attorneys to prove documents alleging he had Kathryn Mayorga sign a non-disclosure agreement aren’t legitimate.
Leslie Stovall and Larissa Drohobyczer represent the accuser who claims she was paid $375,000 hush money to keep quiet about a sexual assault but the Juventus sportsman denied the paperwork being real.
On Thursday Kathryn Mayorga’s lawyers welcomed the scrutiny but told them they’d have to get proof of forgery to be taken seriously.
In a statement to the media the 34-year-old’s representatives said anything
‘should be immediately turned over to the appropriate law enforcement agencies’.
‘Disputes regarding the accuracy of documents are generally questions of fact to be decided by the jury,’ they added.
It came after Peter S. Christiansen called the allegations ‘complete fabrications’ Wednesday while the woman’s lawyer said Ronaldo’s rep had acknowledged the documents ‘were obtained from Cristiano Ronaldo or individuals acting on his behalf.’
