A 46-year-old Nigerian citizen, Iroegbu Uche Andrew , was kidnapped and tortured by a Cambodian woman and other 4 Nigerian men in Borey Moha Sen Sok, Khan Sen Sok, and after escaping, he was arrested for disturbing the peace with no passport.
On August 18, after the victim who was injured ran to escape from the house in Borey Moha Sen Sok, the police arrested a 23-year-old Cambodian woman, Sonita, who works in a bar. The suspect confessed that she and 4 Nigerian men, who already ran to escape, kidnapped and tortured the victim.
The police said, on August 11, 2018, at 6 pm, the female Cambodian suspect contacted the victim as the plan of her Nigerian boyfriend had made. She called the victim and told him to come to visit her home at the scene. The victim took the tuk-tuk to her place. When the victim arrived, 4 Nigerian men detained him and told him to give them for $5,000, or at least $ 3,000 USD.
The victim didn’t have money for them, so they took a hot iron to put on the victim’s left cheek, left shoulder caused him had the injury. Until August 18, while the 4 Nigerian suspects went out to buy some food, the Cambodian woman was taking a nap, so the victim ran out of the house asking for help.
After that, the security man helped the victim and reported to the police. The police arrested a Cambodian woman, but the 4 Nigerian suspects ran away.
The next day, the Nigerian man who was kidnapped was arrested for disturbing the peace and fighting, and without a passport.
