A cannibal has described what it is like to eat another human and said he ‘liked the taste of brain’.

Dmitry Luchin became obsessed with cannibalism after reading about Milwaukee Cannibal Jeffrey Lionel Dahmer who raped, murdered and dismembered 17 boys and men between 1978 and 1991.

His later murders involved necrophilia and cannibalism. Luchin, 21, killed his girlfriend Olga Budunova, 45, by hitting a wine bottle over her head 25 times before dismembering her body with a meat cleaver.

He tore out her insides, roasted her brain and ate it while drinking her blood.  Speaking to police about the murder, he said:

‘I liked the taste of her brain. I decided to give it another try. Then I drained some of her blood into a glass.’

He carried out the murder in his victim’s flat where they were planning to have drinks together to mark International Women’s Day.

Witness Alexandra Dedova, 21, said that there was a sign of the devil on the door that he had painted using blood from her cracked skull. She said:

‘He wanted to summon the devil. He waited for 5 minutes but the devil did not appear…

Next he took the meat cleaver and smashed her skull to the brain. He cut pieces out of her brain. He roasted and ate them. ‘He liked it. He ate another piece, he said. Then poured a glass of her blood and drank.’

    Prosecutor Olga Bondarenko said:

‘Next he cut out her stomach, and chopped off her ears.

he put into her mouth, the other into the cat’s bowl.’ He put a wine bottle into her vagina and then pleasured himself, said Dedova, who witnessed Luchin’s testimony.
