The law graduate Firdaus Amasa, who made news last December after the Nigerian law school refused to call her to bar due to her wearing a Hijab instead of a wig, has finally been called to bar.
Amasa was called to bar, attending the ceremony while wearing a small covering over her hair.
The Body of Benchers, after much deliberations, allowed her to wear a small covering over her hair just the way Honourable Justice Zainab Bulkachuwa, does.
