carl Ikeme, the goalkeeper of the Nigerian national team, has made his first public appearance following his battle with Cancer of the Blood, Leukemia.
Nathan Judah, the Digital Sports Editor, took to Twitter to reveal that the 32-year-old Wolverhampton Wanderers’ goalkeeper helped in opening a brand new Haematology & Oncology Day unit at Solihull Hospital on Tuesday.
Ikeme was diagnosed with acute leukaemia during a blood test following his return to his club Wolverhampton Wanderers for pre-season training last summer.
