A video of some school children in Kano state being served food in sheets of paper has taken over social media. The video was released by the Voice of America Hausa yesterday June 4th.
According to VOA Hausa, the kids complained that the food served was badly cooked as it lacked taste.
On why the pupils were being served food on pieces of papers, the teachers who refused to be identified said the Federal government promised to provide them with plates but they are still waiting for the plates.
Back in 2015, APC promised during their election campaign, to provide lunch for school pupils. and the School Feeding programme has taken off in some states.
