What began as a joke between Eminem and Nicki Minaj is feeling real as Eminem is now projecting his desires to be with Nicki Minaj.
Em made a loving mention to Nicki after he invited 50 Cent on stage while bringing the New York’s Governors Ball 2018 to a close.
After performing Sing For The Moment, Eminem referred to recent rumours that he is dating Nicki Minaj, as he called her his ‘wifey.’
He then went on to make a brave statement saying:
‘I’m going to tell you something about Nicki that she don’t even know.’ Speaking to his hype man Mr Porter, he added: ‘I know she’s gonna see this. Nicki! Let’s do this! We go together! That’s all I wanted to say. ‘Thank you for letting me get that off my chest.’
This isn’t the first time Eminem has let Nicki’s name pass his lips whilst on stage. Last week, during a Boston gig he joked with the crowd:
‘I wanna take this time right now to give a shout out to my bae, Nicki Minaj. Sweatheart, I’ll be home tonight and we’ll figure this shit out how we’re gonna do this.’ Then the rapper added: ‘Yo Boston how many people in here want me to date Nicki Minaj?’ As the cheers rang out, he replied: ‘Well Goddammit me too.’
And not long after, Nicki herself responded – with a suggestion for their first date. ‘
LMFAOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO,’ she wrote on Twitter. ‘The fact that he’s silly & a goof just like me. Love him so much. Em we need you on the #Queen album. That’s where our 1st date will be; at the studio while I gaze into ur beautiful eyes as u write ur verse.’
