New reports on the killing of Abraham Badru, who was shot dead outside his home in London, has emerged. According to the reports, Badru is believed to have been killed as revenge for helping to convict a gang of rapists
The deceased was murdered in Dalston, east London, on 25 March, while speaking on the phone with a friend.
He had in 2009 received a bravery award after he saved a girl from being gang-raped at a party and had given evidence against her attackers.
His mother, Ronke, said she believed “in my heart” it was why he was killed.
His mum, the wife of House of Representatives member, Hon. Dolapo Badru, said Abraham’s home was pelted with eggs after he stopped the attack as a 14-year-old, leaving him “scared for his life”.
