JAY-Z has opened up on his mom coming out as gay.
In a clip from the upcoming interview on David Letterman’s new Netflix series ,he discusses his mother Gloria Carter and her coming out as a lesbian.
“I mean, I really cried. That’s a real story. I cried because I was so happy for her that she was free,” he said.
JAY also states he knew that his mother was gay, but their first conversation on the subject didn’t occur until he was in the process of making 4:44.
