Tori Hart, 18, drinks from a bottle, sucks a dummy, wears nappies, and babbles in baby-speak. That’s because she engages in age play – specifically Adult Baby Diaper Lovers (ABDL) and Daddy Dom/Little Girl play.
But for Tori, age play isn’t sexual – it’s a way to deal with her depression, anxiety, and an eating disorder, helping her to reclaim the childhood she lost when due to sexual abuse.
Tori claims that she was sexually abused as a young girl, and so she never had real childhood. Regressing to being a baby now, as an adult, is soothing, and helps Tori to reclaim her younger years.
Helping her along in her roleplay is a ‘babysitter’ who occasionally plays the role of a parent, changing her diaper and bossing her around. He’ll make her sit in the corner and write lines when she misbehaves, and reward her with sweets and trips to the cinema.
Tori can inhabit different ages from one to ten, but usually behaves as a three-year-old.
‘It allows me to reclaim my childhood,’ explains Tori. ‘The whole idea is submitting yourself to somebody and giving them the power to be in charge of your wellbeing.

If I am with a partner I ask them, “Can I do this?” or, “Can I wear this today?” ‘I speak in my ‘baby voice’ and if I’m upset I will cry or have a temper tantrum. I also crawl and roll. ‘I don’t have a parent at the moment so normally I do it by myself after work. I will dress in a onesie or outfit and relax and watch TV. ‘I use my bottle and eat chicken nuggets shaped like dinosaurs as well as taking pictures for Instagram.
‘I also go to bed every night with a pacifier and it helps me to sleep because I have insomnia. One night I went to a friends’ house and I couldn’t sleep without it. ‘I wear diapers and I do go to the bathroom in them, but only number one.
Thankfully, her friends and family – including her mum, whose house Tori lives in – have been supportive. ‘One time my mom found a diaper so we talked about it,’ remembers Tori. ‘She said,
“That’s fine, just make sure you clean up after yourself.”‘ Tori hopes that by sharing her story with the world, she’ll get rid of the shame and stigma around age play.

She is not the only one on diapers. I wear diapers full time 24/7 and use them. For everything I have three bathrooms in my house but only one has a tolit. And I don’t go in to that bathroom. I had the other toilet s removed. Since I don’t use them. I have three playpens in my house. Two high chairs and two adult size cribs.
