A 23-year old Indian actress Moumita Saha, has been found dead in her flat in Kolkata. reports have it that Saha, was found hanging from the ceiling in her flat on Friday, March 9.
Saha allegedly took her life as from being depressed about failing to get work in the film industry.
Moumita, who stayed alone did not pick got her neighbours and landlord worried as she had not opened her door since Friday afternoon. Police were called and officers who responded broke open the door of her flat and found hanging from the ceiling in one of the rooms.
Police also revealed that a suicide note was recovered from the actress’s flat.
“The house owner informed us today after the door of the flat was not opened since last afternoon,” they said.
Police also believes the actress could have been under “severe depression”.
“We have gone through her social networking site where her last post appeared to be written out of depression. We are going through her mobile call list,” they said.
