While Meghan Markle and Prince Harry have kept the identity of the mutual friend who set them up private, E! officially has the answer of who their matchmaker was. The person was actually Harry’s childhood friend Violet von Westenholz, E! reports.
Westenholz’s father is a baron and close to Prince Charles, which brought her and Harry together growing up. Westenholz does PR for Ralph Lauren, which is how she met and became friends with Meghan Markle, who the fashion house dressed while she was doing press for Suits.
