Apple may be forced to shelve the new iPhone X after getting disappointing sales. According to Apple Insider, analyst Ming ChiKuo , lackluster sales of the iPhone X will more than likely “lead to the cancellation of the model, with production ceasing in the summer.”
We expect iPhone X will go to end of life (EOL) around mid-2018 and that total life cycle shipments will be around 62 million units, lower than our previous forecast of 80 million units,” the analyst said.
This would be the first time Apple has to cancel an iPhone model after just one generation since the release of iPhone 5C back in 2014!
The news also comes after a new survey claims interest in the new iPhone has hit a historic low.
