Meet Dorothy Gould, a South African Actor/Director. She has 40 years acting experience cutting across Theater, Radio, TV and Movies. 🎬🎬🎬She has worked all over the world as both actor and director and is now imparting knowledge in others. She has worked with veterans as well as upcoming talents, prisoners and the homeless, is well versed in voice work, accents, physical performance, contemporary/period pieces and is currently working with actors on Generations – The number one soap opera in South Africa🎭🎭🎭 Why do I seem to be gushing about this multi talented woman, it’s because I recently had the privilege of drinking from her fountain of knowledge. Honored to have her attention for a few sessions, she took me into her ‘space’ ( a room containing a large rug, table, chair and a wall shelf that holds hundreds of books) we worked on everything from movement to monologues, Characterization, auditions, scene prep and even breathing techniques….Wish I could see her every week.
