Governor Willie Obiano of the All Progressives Grand Alliance, APGA, has won the 2017 governorship election in Anambra State.
According to the results so far as anounced by the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, the APGA candidate, who also happens to be the incumbent governor of Anambra State, is leading.
Results from 18 out of the 21 Local Government Areas of the state, have been submitted and Obaino according to this, is leading.
However, a formal declaration of the winner as well as three remaining LGs is being awaited‎ as of the time of this report.
