Drake Tops Aretha Franklin and Stevie Wonder’s Billboard R and B/Hip Hop Chart Records

Canadian rapper, Drake has now surpassed Aretha Franklin and Stevie Wonder to score 21 No 1s on the Billboard chart.

Billboard reported that Drake’s song “Laugh Now Cry Later” featuring Lil Durk, has topped the R&B/Hip Hop Chart, taking over from Cardi B’s anthem WAP which features fellow rapper, Megan The Stallion.

The rapper was previously tied at 20 wins with legends of the music industry, Aretha Franklin and Stevie Wonder.

“Laugh Now Cry Later” makes for his unprecedented 21st champ on the list.

This is coming ten weeks after it debuted at No. 2,  spot on Billboard’s Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs chart and, making him have the most No. 1s since the chart began as an all-encompassing genre ranking in 1958.
