Naira Marley Pleads Guilty In Court, Fined N100k For Breaking COVID-19 Rules

Nigerian singer, Azeez Fashola, famed as Naira Marley and his manager were arraigned before the court yesterday and was charged with flouting the ban on interstate travels in June.

Naira Marley and his manager traveled from Lagos to Abuja and back during the lockdown period in Nigeria for a drive-through concert in Abuja.

The Marlian president was taken to the Lagos State Special Offenses Court at Ikeja by the state police command.

Reports say Naira Marley and his manager pleaded guilty to their charges and were fined one hundred thousand Naira each by the magistrate.
