See How Tacha Influenced #Bbnaija’s new way of Nomination and Eviction

The Big Brother Naija Season 5 (Lockdown) had its first eviction show on the 2nd August 2020. Watching the faces of the housemates, you could see and sense the tension around them.

Finally, Ebuka calls out 4 housemates who were up for eviction as they had the lowest votes. Big Brother makes a twist of the game as housemates entered the diary room to nominate 2 individuals they wanted to be evicted.

“Ka3na, you have been evicted from the Big Brother house,” said Ebuka. She became the first housemate to be evicted from the house. Then, We waited for the next person, and Lilo was called to leave the house.

This brought a question in the minds of so many Bbnaija viewers, saying that why was Lilo evicted since she had the highest votes among the other nominated housemates.

Why was she not saved? Ka3na and Praise had the least number of votes from the audience, therefore, these two ought to be have been automatically disqualified.

With this new development from Biggie, are the audience votes still relevant or not? Could Tacha, an ex-contestant of Big Brother Naija Season 4 (PepperDem) be the reason for this new eviction process?

Recall during BBNaija 2019 show, all housemates felt threatened by Tacha as she was always up for eviction every week, but in the end, viewers will save her from eviction.

She became so confident that she proclaimed herself the invisible with the slogan “no leave no transfer”

To me, I believed biggie brought this method to allow viewers to make their choice before the house, unlike the way it was done previously.

What’s your take on this and drop your opinion and what you think could be the reason behind the new format.
